GRIEVANCE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE OF THE TEXAS SUPREME COURT
The Grievance Oversight Committee is a panel of volunteers comprised of six attorneys and three members of the public appointed by the Texas Supreme Court. The Committee is charged with reviewing the operation of the attorney-client grievance process and reporting its observations and recommendations to the Court.
The Grievance Oversight Committee is not a part of the State Bar's Disciplinary Process and does not accept, consider or resolve grievances nor individual complaints involving attorney-client issues. Information about filing a disciplinary complaint can be found by clicking on the Grievance Information link found in the menu to the right.
The Grievance Oversight Committee welcomes comments from both the public and attorneys about the grievance process, the various bodies which administer the system, the process, the procedural rules and any suggestions or observations. You can email your comments by clicking on the email link in the menu to the right. There is also a brief ONLINE SURVEY which you can answer anonymously and which should take only a couple of minutes. We welcome comments on both the positive aspects of the process and those portions which you believe need improvement.
